Peanut!

Andrew David Richard Graham, son of Melaina and Aaron Graham, arrived at 4:21 a.m. Thursday, May 1 making me a grandmother for the first time!  Thanks to free internet access here at the inn in Nikko, nestled in the mountains of central Japan, I’ve already seen pictures of the wee chap.  He weighed in at 8 pounds 1/2 ounce and 20 inches long.  Not bad for two weeks early!  Way to go, Melaina!

  1. Congratulations! And Welcome to the Club, from an old hand at this. We are expecting #10 in October; however, I’m sure there are many other grandparents out there with many more grandchildren. And how precious is each one.
I do remember our first grand daughter’s arrival. There really is nothing like the feeling of holding that baby for the first time. Thank heaven for the internet so you can see little Andrew’s photos.
The Harris’ have also welcomed the safe arrivals of their expected grandbabies, who, incidently, are both girls.
So, life goes on, just as God intends it should.
Bless you guys and the new little wonder.
    Doris

P.S. Sounds like an exciting getaway, too. We hope you return home in time to take the missions trip to Paraguay that some of the congregation are planning for next March. Ilef has the details.

  2. I quoted your blog in the News this week. So thrilled for Melaina. Shared the info with the family/gang too. He’s a lovely lad. Congrats, grandma.
